To bring a voice and platform to the needs of indigenous, ethnic, and monastic communities.  Our programs and partnerships are the vessel to accomplish this.


ATMA SEVA is a registered non-profit in the State of Arizona and the federal application to receive 501(c)3 status was recently submitted.  ATMA SEVA provides volunteer trips and opportunities, unique educational and cultural tours, and is actively involved in community projects.  We travel and work in Northern Thailand and Bhutan.

We are always looking for guest bloggers who would like contribute and have posts featured on our blog.  Posts can be anything relating to our main activities and goals ie volunteering, Buddhism, unique travel, culture, etc.  Other NGO’s or relevant organizations are welcome as well.  We would also love to help out other NGO’s by featuring articles/pieces/photos or basics about your organization.  Please send us your ideas or post(s) to info@atmaseva.org.  We look forward to hearing from you!

  4. Hello all you wonderful ATMA SEVA people! I just wanted to say thank you to whoever it was that visited our blog, and for the ‘like’ on the post on Varanasi. In case you’re interested there’s a second post on Varanasi, focusing on life on the Ganges, here:
    I think it’s better than the first.
    I think I may well have some writing/photographs on unique travel I’d like to offer (what about the second post on Varanasi? Do you do reblogging or do you want something original?). I’m currently writing about our travels in Burma, a truly magical, and unique, place. I’ll follow for now, and may submit some ideas a little later.
