Teaching Abroad

Welcome to our Teaching Abroad section!  Since ATMA SEVA’s two main programs (Wat Doi Saket project & Lawa Village) in Northern Thailand deal with teaching conversational English we wanted to create a space for teaching resources, classroom tips, specifics about Thai classrooms, games and activities, English camp ideas, and more.  This page will also feature pieces from our volunteers about their experiences in the classroom and ways to improve.

Marcia, ATMA SEVA’s ESL/EFL coordinator, has over twenty years of experience in education and specifically teaching English to non-native speakers.  She will be contributing on a regular basis and will be responding to any questions or comments below.

We would also love to hear from you! If there are things we can provide or post more about, please leave us a comment below.  Also, if you are a teacher or involved with teaching overseas and would like to contribute to this section, please send us an email at info@atmaseva.org with your ideas.
